Once upon a time, there lived an Emperor. He was very wealthy, but he was not a good ruler. All he was concerned about was his new clothes. The emperor used to wear a new outfit every single day. People used to say that he changes his clothes almost after every hour. He used to spend all his money in sewing clothes of new style and patterns. 

从前，有一位皇帝。他非常富有，但他不是一个好的统治者。他只关心他的新衣服。皇帝过去每天都穿一套新衣服。人们过去常说他几乎每隔一小时就换一次衣服。他常常把所有的钱都花在缝制式样新颖的衣服上。

Hey, you're wearing new clothes today. Will you wear another pair of new clothes tomorrow? No, no, I'm not the emperor to change my clothes every now and then. Yes, we have to look after our families. We can't be extravagant as the emperor. He is least bothered about his kingdom, his people or even his army. One fine morning, there arrived a couple of swindlers in the kingdom. They stitched a few clothes for some men in the kingdom. People didn't understand what they are wearing, but the swindlers boasted about the clothes so much, that people couldn't resist them. Also, because they used to say that only wise men could see their clothes.

Soon they became so popular, that the emperor heard about them. The emperor had heard so much about their flawless tailoring, that he decided to get some clothes sewed from those tailors. Call those tailors to my palace. I want you to stitch some clothes for me. We feel honored to have this opportunity. We shall stitch some of the finest and most beautiful clothes for His Highness!

不久，他们变得非常地受欢迎了，以至于皇帝都听说了他们。皇帝听了太多关于他们完美无瑕的裁缝，他决定让那些裁缝缝制一些衣服。叫那些裁缝到我的宫殿来。我要你给我缝几件衣服。我们为有此机会感到荣幸。我们要为皇帝陛下缝制一些最好最漂亮的衣服！
