A clear conscience

Sometimes the truth differs from what people believe to be true. Most people base their opinions on their impressions of things rather than on facts. Therefore, we are actually living in our psychological cognition of each other. Once we decide someone is good, then he is good no matter what. Once we believe someone is good, we can always find his faults.

To be misunderstood means the other person does not have enough confidence in us. There is not much use to explain if that is the case. As is well said, for those who trust you, you don’t need to explain to earn their trust. For those who do not trust you, no matter how much you explain, they just don’t trust you. The best way is not to explain.Instead, we need to cultivate our virtues and boost people’s confidence in us.

We are not what others say we are. If we do not expect positive judgement from others, we won’t get hurt by their negative judgement. No matter how we try, it is impossible to make all people happy. It is pointless to take other people’s emotions as the criterion of our actions.The point is to be sure of our motivation, try our best and have a clear conscience.

事实真相与人心中的“真相”，

有时候是两回事。

大多数人都是凭自己

心里的印象来看待一件事，

所以其实人与人之间，

是活在相互的心理认识中：

认为这个人好，

不管怎样都觉得好；

认为他不好，

不管怎样都能挑出错。

被人误解，是因为对方

对自己的信心本来就不够，

此时再去解释作用也不大，

正如有一句话说

“相信你的人不用解释

也会相信你，

不相信你的怎么解释也没用。”

最有用的办法，不是去辩解，

而是自己好好立身处世，

增强大家对自己的信心。

别人口中的自己，

不等于真正的自己。

如果不期待他人积极的评价，

也就不会对消极的

评价耿耿于怀。

我们无论怎么做，

都不可能使所有人满意，

不必把他人的情绪

当做自己行事的标准，

只要把握好自己做事的动机，

尽心尽力去做了，便无愧于心。
