Howdy folks, I’m glad you like the hat. I remember when I was back in school, I both loved and hated exam time. I hated it because, well, exam’s kind of suck, but I did love it because it meant that big, long holidays were coming up, whether it was midterm breaks or summer breaks. Now why am I talking about exams right now? A friend of mine, whose name’s Ken, he’s teacher over at East China Normal University. He asked me to give a shout out to his students there, so to the ECNU Minhang freshmen class in English. Keep it up, guys, you got through your midterms, well done.
Well happy Monday, everybody, I really enjoyed the fights this weekend with some really good belts. The main event, Tyson and Roy Jones Jr.(junior) was a pretty decent showing, considering, you know, both of those guys are over the age of fifty. I didn't end up staying up all night. Before the fights, I was a little bit worried that if I was too rundown, too exhausted, I might get sick. It's getting colder outside, and one of the easiest ways to get sick is to be really tired. So, I did get a couple of hours sleep, just to make sure that I wasn't too rundown during the day. And it turns out I was pretty tired by the end of Sunday as well, so I got a good night's sleep last night and I’m looking forward to maybe getting another one tonight. I’ll keep my fingers crossed.
Hey guys, I’m back on the sugarless diet, I'm carrying a little holiday weight and the holidays have barely started. So it's a problem. Pretty much the only advantage of not being able to go home for Christmas this year is that my mother will not be able to stuff me full of food, so I will be able to drop some pounds over this holiday season, which is nice. It's a lot like Chinese new year, you know, the holidays where I come from, the time just before Christmas, all the way through to the new year. It's time for families to get together, have like a big meal on Christmas Eve or on Christmas Day, maybe not huge by Chinese New Year meal standards, but still a pretty decent meal. It's really just a time for families to get together, eat tons of food and shower each other with gifts.
