It is hard to go a day without hearing people talk about goal achievement. In this pair of cartoons,a boy, who is ready to run a race, sees a straight track leading to the checkered flag, but in reality goes through many twists and turns before reaching the finish line. The caption below the cartoons reads" 'ideal' and 'reality' ".What the cartoonist tries to tell us is that the course of life doesn 't always run smoothly.
The logic behind this idea is as follows. People usually make choices or judgements based on their own limited knowledge and experience, and they are very likely to make mistakes because of this. Take the preparation for the postgraduate admission test as an example. During the preparation，some students select reference books too easy or too difficult to digest, while others make unrealistic or unworkable review plans. In fact, it is quite common that students update their reference materials and optimize their to- do lists before taking the test.
It is safe to conclude that setbacks are inevitable in one's journey to reaching a goal. From my perspective, every one of us， regardless of age or profession，should face up to difficulties，learn from temporary failures and keep reaching for our goals.

人们经常谈论实现目标的话题。在这组漫画中，一个准备赛跑的男孩看见通向方格旗的是一条笔直跑道，但实际上他历姪曲折才到达终点。漫画下方的说明文字是“‘理想’与’现实'”。漫画师想告诉我们，人生之路不会总是一帆风顺。
该说法背后的逻辑如下。人们通常根据自己有限的知识和经验做出选择或判断，因此很有可能出错。以准备研究生入学考试为例，有些学生在备考期间选择了太简单或太难以消化的参考书，而另一些学生则制订了不现实或不可行的复习计划。事实上，学生在考前更新复习资料以及优化行动计划是普遍现象。
我们可以肯定地得出结论：挫折在实现目标的过程中不可避免。在我看来，不论年龄、职业，我们每个人应该勇敢面对困难，从暂时的挫败中汲取教训，并坚持实现目标。
