Amy and Tom are talking about stars.
Amy: Hi, Tom. Do you know about Liu Xiang?
Tom: Sure. Everyone knows about him. He is good at 110 hurdle, and he is an excellent athlete in China.
Amy: How won the gold medal in 2008 Olympics, and became famous all over the world.
Tom: Do you think he is one of the famous people?
Amy: Yes, I do. But there are many other famous people in our country, like Yao Ming, Guo Jingjing, Wang Hao and so on.
Tom: But I prefer the movie stars, especially the ones form Hong Kong. I think they are more famous the sports stars.
Amy: Then you like Jackie Chan, Stephen Chow, and Chow Yun Fat, don’t you?
Tom: Yes, they are all famous people with a lots of fans, including me. Do you like the movie stars?
Amy: Frankly speaking, I don’t. I just like sport stars. I think they work hard to achieve more for our country.
Tom: Your words sounds reasonable.
Amy: And I like some famous people in other countries too.
Tom: Who are they, please?
Amy: They are Albert Einstein, Edison and so on, they all made great contributions to human beings.
Tom: Yes. They are also famous people we won’t forget.
Amy: Hmm, in my opinion, famous people should be those who have great achievements for our society.
Tom: Yes.
