Football is just like our life!
When it comes to the word “football”, different people have different opinions or impressions. You may say that‘Ahh, I know, football is the most popular sport in the world, especially among “ or maybe, you will also say that “oh, Chinese football is extremely disappointing, we even cannot select 11 athletes playing football really well from 1.4 billion people...that’s a shame.” And meanwhile you are likely to have such doubts, “why 22 players just kick a ball on the football field for 90 minutes, don’t they feel a little bit tired or boring?” “Why there are so many big fans keen on football around the world?”I had the same thoughts before I get acquainted with it, but, when I am familiar with it, and when I begin to play and like it, I gradually know that it’s not football itself attractive, but something inner------ football is just like our life.
If we divide a football match into two parts, it can be attack and defence----that’s the first thing I want to share.We attack because we want to score goals; we defend because we don’t want to concede a goal.But it is not as easy as basketball or volleyball to score a goal.We need to pass the ball constantly to find a chance during 90 minutes. Likewise, we try to chasing for targets in our life and try to avoid the influence made by risks or dangers. However, not each attack indicates a goal; not each defence implies there won’t be a fumble.Chances are that most efforts are futile (in vain). Nevertheless, as long as we spare no efforts to try, no matter what the result is, the process itself is a success.
Football is a team sports and teammates is very important, so the second point I want to say is team spirit. Imagine that one players try his best to play a good game, but his teammates perform badly and in such case, it’s unlikely to win. In society, we are besieged by relationship network, and a piece of work or project won’t progress smoothly without the help of our family or friends. Thus, keep it in mind that team spirit is necessary and always be thankful for other’s assistances
Lastly, I think that a ball is round. Anything isprobable----beat the stronger opponent or lose to the weaker one.It’s the same with life. Life is changable and and everything is possible. A football match can make you experience big rise and fall within only one second , get or lose goals, just like when we succeed or fail in our careers.But if we get only one goal and stop opponent from scoring, we can win the match. This is a golden rule in the football match and our life-----seize the chance or lose the game.
What’s mentioned above is my perspectives of football. Finally, I’d like to add that football is just like our life; you can experience another kind of life in a match.It really deserves your love.
