Day63：Why does the Moon change shape?

The Moon doesn’t really change shape. What changes is the shape of the sunlit part of the Moon that you can see from Earth. As the Moon moves round the Earth in its orbit, the Sun lights it from different directions. First the bright side seems to grow, and then it seems to shrink.
