Princess Diana's former apartment will be honored as a historic site later this year. English Heritage, an organization that manages more than 400 historic sites in the UK, recently announced that it will be installing a special plaque at the London apartment where Diana Spencer lived before she married Prince Charles. Princess Diana is one of six women to be honored with London Blue Plaques installed by English Heritage this year, according to the announcement. Diana lived in the Coleherne Court apartment with three friends before she was married and joined the royal family.

"We are expecting our plaque to Diana, Princess of Wales, to be very popular," Anna Eavis, English Heritage’s Curatorial Director, said in a statement. "She was an inspiration and cultural icon to many, raising awareness of issues including landmines and homelessness, and helping to destigmatize illnesses such as HIV, leprosy and depression."

'Borrow a cup' trial at Starbucks

Starbucks is launching an experimental "borrow a cup" program at select locations in its hometown, Seattle. The program will kick off as a two-month trial in five Seattle stores. Customers at those stores will have an option to receive their drinks in a cup they can use again. Customers will order their drinks in a reusable cup and pay a $1 refundable deposit. When the customer is done with their drink, they return the cup and receive a $1 credit as their refund plus 10 Bonus Stars on their Starbucks Rewards account.

Contest to improve face mask designs

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has launched the $500,000 "Mask Innovation Challenge" to find new and effective masks people will find more comfortable to wear. If you have a unique idea that follows the required safety guidelines, you can submit your idea by 5 pm on April 21. Up to 10 winners will be chosen in the first phase of the challenge and will split a $100,000 prize, with each person taking home up to $10,000.

If you're looking to maximize the amount of fat burned in your next workout, think about having a coffee half an hour before you get started – as a new study suggests it can make a significant difference to fat burning, especially later on in the day. Researchers found that 3 milligrams of caffeine per kilogram of body weight can boost the rate of fat burning during aerobic exercise, based on results gathered from 15 male volunteers.
