声音简介
Describe a short trip you often take but do not like.
You should say:
Where you go
When you go there
Why you go there
And explain why you do not like the trip
提示:
1. 本题的A是a short trip,描述短程路途;B是you often take but do not like, 限制属性
I’d like to describe the short trips I take every single day to commute. I gotta survive a torturing 2-hour subway ride every day to make it to my office, and then again, another 2-hour journey to go back, both in rush time.
I have to get up at 6 and get to that subway station before 7 in order to make it to my office at eight. Although we’re only required to clock in at 8:30, my boss will be there at 8, so… yeah, we gotta beat her. People say every cloud has a silver lining. Well, they definitely haven’t experienced line no. 4. There’s several bulky aunties at every door trying to push you into the carriage. Believe me, you need their help.
Once you’re on, get ready to compress your lungs and decrease the oxygen you need to survive, cause there’s always this stench coming from sweaty people. You wanna read in there to kill time? No way. You ever see sardines read? And forget about seats, cause you can’t get even close to one. Sometimes it’d be too hard to reach for your phone when you wanna check the time. All you could do is to rub your face to other people’s sleeves or … armpits. I know I’m probably not supposed to say things like this but I wanna say it. That freaking pandemic, together with social distancing people are ordered to do, is not exactly a bad thing.
Then before you know it, a day of work is over, and you’re gonna do it all over again!
