Life is a risk

If you are not willing to risk the unusual, you will have to settle for the ordinary.

如果你不愿意冒险去成就不凡，那你就只能苟且于平庸。

Life is a risk. It is a risk to turn down a safe job to go after your dreams. The risk is failure. The risk is embarrassment. The risk is suffering.

生活就是一场冒险。为了追逐梦想而拒绝稳定工作就是一种冒险。你可能会遭遇失败，会遭遇尴尬，会饱受折磨。

But perhaps the greater risk is taking the option that will almost certainly lead to regret down the track.

但是如果你选择不冒任何风险的话，那几乎必然会导致未来的懊悔，或许这才是更大的风险。

Regret is almost guaranteed when you choose an easy option that is far less than your potential or less than the quality of life you dream of for yourself. 

当你选择了一条非常容易走，而且离自己梦想很远的路时，遗憾几乎是必然的。

I guess it is pretty obvious that every great success story on this earth was a great risk taker. Great rewards can only come following great risks. 

我想，显然世上每一个伟大的成功案例都源自伟大的探险家。只有敢冒巨大的风险，才能收获巨大的回报。
