One day, Indonesia 205 took off from Jinan to Hangzhou. About one hour later, the aircraft was transferred to Hangzhou Approach. Hangzhou Approach required Indonesia 205 to slow down to 190 knots and later the controller asked the pilot to reduce speed to 160 knots. Three minutes later, Indonesia 205 passed the outer marker inbound. At that time, the controller issued a missed approach clearance because of separation. He instructed Indonesia 205 to make a right turn to a heading of 180 and climb to 900m. But during the missed approach, the aircraft was out of control because of mechanical problem. The aircraft continued to descend with a high angle of attack. The aircraft impacted trees and buildings and part of the fuselage was damaged.
