About today's guest host:
Andrea E. Eby graduated from the University of Manitoba's Faculty of Education, with a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Special Education. After working in the public school system, Andrea found herself drawn to the world of wine.
Andrea earned the Diploma in Wine and Spirits (with Distinction) from the Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET)® in 2017 and was awarded the Prowein Scholarship in recognition of her academic achievements. Andrea is an instructor with the Wine Scholars Guild, specializing in the wines of Italy and holds the title of Italian Wine Ambassador through Vinitaly International Academy. Andrea is also an instructor for WSET® and is an assessor for their Educator Training Programme. She is a Sommelier Instructor with the Canadian Association of Professional Sommeliers (CAPS/ACSP) and a member of the CAPS National Education Committee. Andrea has also served as a member of the expert judging panels at the International Wine & Spirits Competition, International Wine Challenge and Vinitaly 5 Star Wines.
Andrea is a Stage 2 Masters of Wine student that has worked for more than a decade in the wine world; as a wine buyer, in retail sales, and as a drinks educator at one of Canada’s top wine stores. In 2020 she founded Vinsanity Consulting and Vinsanity School of Wine in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

About today’s guest producer:
Patrick Uccelli was born in Bolzano in 1974.
He grew up in the city and left her in 1995. Never finished studying medicine and then philosophy in Austria. Discovered his love for wine around 2000 and devoted himself to studying oenology and viticulture. Achieve two degrees (one in Italy and one in Geiseheim (Germany) and start the journey in the world of wine.
Trentino, Germany, Alto Adige, Sicily, Tunisia, Apulia and then back to the small family business in Salorno (Alto Adige).
Since 2008 he has been producing wines in the company which he, together with his family, has been developing from year to year according to the guidelines of biodynamic farming.
