golden age  (尤指艺术或文学的)黄金时代

*通常作为单数形式使用，搭配介词of, 例如：the golden age of cinema 电影的鼎盛时期

I grew up in the golden age of television. 

我是在电视的黄金时代长大的。

The Tang Dynasty was the golden age of classical Chinese poetry. 

唐朝是中国古诗的极盛时期。

heyday  /ˈheɪdeɪ/ n. 最为强大（或成功、繁荣）的时期

*通常作为单数形式使用，in one's heyday 或者 in the heyday of sb/sth，表示在某人/物的全盛时期。近义词：prime. 

The 1880s and '90s were the heyday of Hong Kong movies.

80和90年代是香港电影的全盛时期。

Jazz was in its heyday back then. 

那时爵士乐正处于鼎盛时期。

scramble /ˈskræmbl/ v. 争抢；抢占；争夺

*scramble for sth 争抢某物 scramble to do sth争先恐后做某事

The audience scrambled for the exits. 

观众竞相朝出口拥去。

Shoppers were scrambling to get the best bargains. 

顾客争先恐后地抢购最便宜的特价商品。

stand out 突出，显眼

*可搭配介词from, in, at 等使用，表示在......之中很显眼

If you have pink hair you will stand out in the crowd.

如果你有粉色的头发，在人群中你会很显眼。

My colorful suit really stood out at the party.

我五彩斑斓的服装真的在派对上很显眼。
