He called two of his fellow guards andasked them to assist him. He instructed the guards to take Bonacieux from theBastille. They placed him in a carriage and hurried across Paris to a large,dark building. When the carriage reached the back door of the building,Bonacieuxwas pushed through the door. Once inside the building he was taken upstairs.
