Did you ever hear of Mickey, 

你听说过一个叫做米奇的小男孩吗？

how he heard a racket in the night and shouted,

他听到夜里传来窸窸窣窣声，于是他大喊着说，

" Quiet Down There ! "

“请安静点儿！”

And fell through the dark, out of his clothes, 

不知怎么的，他忽然飘起来，在夜空中翻跟斗，衣服全部脱离他的身体，

past the moon & his mama & papa sleeping tight,

飘过月亮，飘过熟睡的爸爸妈妈，

into the light of the night kitchen ?

进入了皎洁月光下的深夜厨房?

Where the bakers who bake till the dawn 

在那里，面包师们会一直烘焙面包直到天明，

so we can have cake in the morning

这样我们才可以在早上吃到美味的蛋糕，

 mixed Mickey in batter, chanting:

他们把米奇跟面团搅拌在一起，一边唱着歌：

Milk in the batter! Milk in the batter! 

面团里的牛奶！面团里的牛奶！

Stir it! Scrape it! Make it! Bake it!

搅拌，制作，烘焙！

And they put that batter up 

他们把面团放进烤箱，

to bake a delicious Mickey-Cake. 

烤出一个美味的米奇蛋糕。

But right in the middle of the steaming 

在正中央冒着气、

and the making and the smelling and the baking

正在烘焙、散发出香味的地方，

Mickey poked through and said: 

米奇钻出来，说：

I'm not the milk and the milk's not me! I'm Mickey!

我不是牛奶！牛奶不是我！我是米奇！

So he skipped from the oven & into bread dough 

于是，他从烤箱里跳出来，跳进生面团，

all ready to rise in the night kitchen. 

整个人连着生面团在深夜厨房里飞起来。

He kneaded and punched it and pounded and pulled

他揉呀，捏呀，敲呀，打呀，拉呀

till it looked okay. 

直到它看起来像一架飞机。

Then Mickey in dough was just on his way

然后，米奇驾驶着生面团飞机正要出发

When the bakers ran up with a measuring cup, howling:

突然，面包师们跑过来，拿着量杯，哀号着说：

MILK! MILK! Milk for the morning cake!

牛奶！牛奶！早晨蛋糕需要的牛奶！

What's all the fuss? I'm Mickey the Pilot! 

这有什么难的？我是飞行员米奇！

I get the milk the Mickey way!

我会以米奇的方式拿到牛奶！

And he grabbed the cup as he flew up. 

他一边飞，一边拿了量杯，

and up and up

往上飞呀，飞呀

and over the top of the Milky Way in the night kitchen. 

越过了深夜厨房顶端的牛奶路

Mickey the milkman dived down to the bottom 

牛奶人米奇潜入瓶底，

singing: I'm in the milk and the milk's in me. 

唱着歌：我在牛奶里，牛奶在我里面。

God bless milk and God bless me!

上帝祝福牛奶，上帝祝福我！

Then he swam to the top, 

然后他游到瓶子顶端，

pouring milk from his cup in to the batter below--

把量杯里的牛奶倒到下面的生面团里——

So the bakers they mixed it and beat it and baked it. 

这样，面包师们就把牛奶掺和进生面团里，敲打，烘焙好。

Milk in the batter! Milk in the batter! 

牛奶在生面团里！牛奶在生面团里！

We bake cake! 

我们一起烘焙面包！

And nothing's the matter!

没有什么难的！

Now Mickey in the night kitchen cried

深夜厨房里米奇突然尖叫起来，

 " Cock a Doodle Doo!" 

“公鸡喔喔叫！”

and slid down the side

然后从一侧滑下来。

straight into bed carefree and dried. 

径直飘向床上，心情快乐舒畅，身体干干的。

And that's why, thanks to Mickey, we have cake every morning. 

那就是为什么，多亏了米奇，我们每个早上都有蛋糕吃。
