1.PEOPLE MOURN QUAKE VICTIMS
四川举行悼念活动 哀悼泸定6.8级地震遇难同胞
A total of 93 people have been killed and another 25 remain missing after last Monday’s earthquake in Sichuan Province. The rescue headquarters said among the deaths, 55 were killed in Ganzi Tibetan autonomous prefecture, and 38 in Ya’an City. Song Wenjing has the story.
上周一（9/5）发生的四川泸定6.8级地震目前已造成93人遇难、25人失联。救援指挥部发布消息，甘孜藏族自治州死亡55人，雅安市死亡38人。记者宋雯婧为您带来更多报道。

A ceremony mourning the victims was held today in Moxi Town, Luding County. At 12:52 pm, an air raid siren was sounded in tribute to the victims. Another ceremony was held in Shimian County, Ya’an. 
今日（9/12），为泸定地震遇难同胞举行的哀悼活动在甘孜州泸定县磨西镇举行。中午12点52分，防空警报在泸定地震震中磨西镇上空拉响，为地震遇难同胞默哀。另一场哀悼活动在雅安石棉县举行。

3 minutes of silence 【默哀】 were held to mourn 【悼念】 those who died. After three days of work, construction workers had leveled the ground of a relocation site in Moxi Town. 
全体为死者默哀3分钟。经过三日奋战，磨西镇过渡安置点场地平整工作已完成。

Water, electricity and telecommunication services have been restored. The power utility was sending electricians【电工】to check the wiring in every home. Some stores and supermarkets also reopened after the buildings were deemed safe. 
当地安置点的水电通讯已恢复，电力部门目前正在对每家每户进行电线排查。确认安全后，一些商场和超市也逐渐重新开门营业。

More than 13,000 people including People’s Liberation Army soldiers, members of the People’s Armed Police Force, firefighters and medical workers were sent from around the country to assist with rescue and relief work. More than 650 trapped people were rescued, while over 60,000 people were provided with temporary shelter.
地震发生后，中央和地方调集各方力量积极参与抗震救灾工作，累计出动解放军和武警部队、消防救援、医疗卫生等各类救援力量 1.3万余人，累计搜救被困群众650余人，转移避险群众6万余人。

2.FIREFIGHTERS BATTLE BLAZE AT THERMAL POWER PLANT IN KHARKIV
哈尔科夫州一热电厂遭袭起火 乌方消防员奔赴现场开展灭火工作
Yesterday marked the 200th day of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Ukrainian media reported that a thermal power plant in Kharkiv was hit by at least two Russian missiles, causing power outages in many parts of eastern Ukraine. Lei Shuran has the story.
昨日（9/11）是俄乌冲突爆发第200天。乌克兰媒体报道称，哈尔科夫第五热电厂被俄军至少2枚导弹击中，造成乌东多地大面积停电。记者雷舒然带来更多详细报道。

Emergency crews were tackling a fire at a thermal【热力的】power plant in Kharkiv last night. Ukraine claimed that it was caused by the Russian military.
昨晚，哈尔科夫第五热电厂燃起大火，数名消防人员紧急作业。乌方称，这是俄方军队（的导弹）造成的。

A missile struck the site. Transformers which serve the city of Kharkiv were damaged.

The accident caused a total blackout【灯火熄灭】in Kharkiv as well as in the Donetsk region. Nearly 9 million people were left without electricity.

According to Ukrainian media, Ukraine’s chief commander General said yesterday that the Ukrainian armed forces were advancing in the south, east and north in the Kharkiv direction. He added that the armed forces had regained control of more than 3,000 square kilometers. 
乌方媒体称，乌克兰武装部队总司令当天表示，乌武装部队正在向哈尔科夫南、东、北三个方向推进，并声称已重新控制了3000多平方公里土地。

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy also stated that the Ukrainian army is continuing its counter-offensive.

The Russian Defense Ministry said yesterday that Russian forces continue to attack Ukrainian troops in the regions of Kharkiv, Kherson and Donetsk. The ministry added that in Kharkiv, Russian forces had attacked Ukrainian forces in nearly 10 areas during the past 24 hours.
俄罗斯国防部则称，俄军继续对哈尔科夫州、赫尔松州和顿涅茨克等地区的乌军进行打击。其中，24小时内在哈尔科夫境内遭受俄军打击的乌军据点就接近10个。

More than 250 Ukrainian servicemen, 12 armored【装甲的】vehicles, three field artillery pieces, one multiple rocket launcher, and 17 vehicles were destroyed.

In addition, Russia said since September 1, the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant and the city of Energodar had been attacked at least 26 times by Ukrainian forces.

Ukraine’s state-run nuclear energy operator Energo-atom said yesterday that the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant in southern Ukraine was shut down over safety concerns.

The International Atomic Energy Agency reported a reserve power transmission line has been connected, to ensure that the plant has the necessary power to reactors to be cooled.

Many locals visited parks and museums, or played sports instead of taking a trip during the three-day holiday. Zhang Hong tells us more.

Pujiang Country Park created what it calls a carpet 【地毯】 of flowers with over two dozen types of sunflowers to mark its 5th anniversary.

They’re on loan【借用】from Uffizi Gallery in Italy. The most famous self-portrait is of Raphael. Some visitors even paid for a guided tour.

At the football field, some seniors were practicing walking football, where they play at a walking speed. Under the rules, no running is allowed.
