story: How do you respond to adversity? Do  you allow it to defeat you,or do you stand firm  and persevere? 
Emily Blunt faced extreme challenges and disappointments as a young woman,but now she says, I look back with gratitude.
Difficult years
In London,on February 23,1983, Emly was born into a family of high achievers. Her father was a successful lawyer, her mother -- now a teacher -- was formerly an actress, and her older sister, Felicity, excelled academically.
