1.APPLICANTS GET 9-VALENT HPV VACCINE AFTER AGE RANGE EXPANDED

上海九价HPV疫苗扩龄至9-45岁

In Shanghai, female applicants are now able to get a 9-valent HPV vaccine after the age range was expanded from 16 to 26 years of age to 9 to 45. The expansion was approved in August by the National Medical Products Administration. Zhang Yue has more.

今年8月，经国家药监局批准，上海市九价HPV疫苗适用人群从16至26岁女性，拓展为9至45岁女性。记者张乐带来更多详细报道。

27-year-old Ms. Qu was one of the first recipients for a 9-valent HPV vaccine at Fudan University’s Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital this morning. Qu made her appointment as soon as possible after hearing about the new policy. There are more than 100 types of HPV and some can cause different types of cancer.

27岁的瞿女士是今天上午在复旦大学附属妇产科医院接受9价HPV疫苗的首批接种者之一。在听说“扩龄”新政策后，瞿女士第一时间进行了预约。人乳头瘤病毒的类型多达100余种，其中一些病毒会引起不同类型的癌症。

Nine-year-old Tongtong also received her shot today at Shanghai Children’s Medical Center. The hospital said appointments can be made online.

Women aged 17 to 24 are more likely to get the virus, however, people in this age range have a stronger immune system because they are still young. Those aged 40 to 44 also have a higher risk of getting HPV. Changing the age range is based on real data, making it more convincing.

HPV感染有两个峰，一个峰是青春期17到24岁，但是这个年龄段的女性年轻、免疫力强，自我清除（病毒）能力比较好，第二个高峰是40岁到44岁。这个"扩龄"是基于上市之后的研究数据，更有说服力。

Courier【快递】companies were faced with a backlogof parcels as steep discounts led to an increase in consumer spending for today’s Double 11 Shopping Festival. Lei Shuran has more.

At 7:30am, JD’s logistics site on Jiangning Road had already received its fourth delivery of parcels. Employees saidthat another 7 were on the way. Managers said they expected more than 6,200 packages, nearly doubling the daily average.

During the shopping festival period, China Post Shanghai said it had increased cargo flights and its fleet of trucks were transporting nearly 3,000 tons of goods at peak times.

3.RUSSIAN TROOPS WITHDRAW TO THE EAST SIDE OF DNIPRO

The Russian Defense Ministry announcedWednesdaythat Russian troops in the Kherson region were moving to the eastern side of the Dnipro. Stephen Rancourt has more.

Defense Ministry spokesman Igor Konashenkov said that the Russian army hit two Ukrainian command posts in the areas of Mykolaiv and Sukhyi Stavok in the Kherson region.

On Thursday, Ukraine’s defense minister said that it would take Russia at least a week to withdraw its troops from the southern city of Kherson and that winter weather would slow down battlefield operations, giving both sides a chance to regroup.In an interview in Kyiv, the defense minister that said Russia had 40,000 troops in the Kherson region and that it still had forces in the city, around the city and on the west bank of the Dnipro River despite the announcement their retreat.
