拓展-appreciate的用法：

① 固定句链儿（请求别人帮忙）：

I would appreciate (it) if you would/could _____.

I would appreciate it if you could stop smoking.

I would appreciate _________.

I would appreciate your coming here.

② 做感谢之意时，于Thank you有语感上的差异：

通常，appreciate的使用语境比Thank you更加正式，感激更加真挚。

appreciate在日常会话当中常常用来表示感谢，但是要注意它同thank的搭配不同。

thank的直接宾语是人，不能是对方给自己的好处；

appreciate则相反，直接宾语必须是对方所作的好事，不能是对方这个人。

例如不能说：*I'd appreciate you if you'd do me a favor, 而要说I'd appreciate it if you'd do me a favor. 如果您能帮我一下忙，我就十分感谢。

Thank you. 天天多次使用，用滥了，往往不一定真的认为对方给自己做的事有多大价值，而说I appreciate it. 则至少在口头上表示对价值的承认。

但是两种也可叠加使用：

Thank you for helping me. I really appreciate it.

谢谢你帮我。我真的很感激。

We do really appreciate your help.

我们对你的帮助深表感谢。
