Tuesdays with Morrie is an autobiographical novel written by American writer Mitch Albom. The story truly tells the last course of life philosophy taught by Professor Murray Schwartz, the author's mentor, to Mickey on every Tuesday 14 weeks before his death. Morrie, a professor of social psychology who was over 70 years old, suffered from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) in 1994, and the time is running out. As a proud student in Morrie's early years, Mitch came to visit the professor every Tuesday to listen to the last teaching of the old man. After his death, he put Professor Morrie Schwartz's apocalyptic maxim into a chain and named it "Meet Tuesday". As the theme of the work and the clue of the novel, death conveys the author's deeper and more thorough thinking about life, which makes the work of "Meet Tuesday" itself exude rich philosophical implication.
