'把Badr-al-Budur公主带到我这里来，'阿拉丁说，'听从就是服从。
一会儿，精灵就回来了，公主在他怀里睡着了。他把她小心翼翼地放在一张床上，然后公主睁开眼睛，看到了阿拉丁。
你是谁？"她害怕地问。
阿拉丁拉着她的手，看着她的眼睛。我的名字叫阿拉丁，我爱你，'他哭着说。我不能没有你，我想娶你。
Badr-al-Budur看到了他眼中的爱，并微笑着。
她又闭上了眼睛，然后那个精灵把她抱回了苏丹的宫殿。第二天早上，她想起了阿拉丁的眼睛。她想维齐尔的儿子的眼睛里没有爱。他只想着黄金和其他珠宝。于是公主去找她的父亲。我不想嫁给大臣的儿子，她说。我想让阿拉丁做我的丈夫。'苏丹非常惊讶。我们能做什么？"他对他的维齐尔说。我的女儿想嫁给阿拉丁这个人。他是个有钱人，这是事实--但他是谁？"问他，维齐尔很快说，要更多那些美丽的珠宝，放在四十个金盘子里。还有四十个女奴，和四十个奴隶。没有人有那么多钱。
'很好，苏丹笑了笑，对他的奴隶们说：'把阿拉丁的母亲带到我这里来。'当阿拉丁的母亲到达时，苏丹说。那么!你的儿子想娶我的女儿。
但首先他必须给我四十个带珠宝的金盘。四十个女奴，和四十个奴隶，必须把这些盘子送到我这里。然后我的女儿才能成为他的妻子。
阿拉丁的母亲回家告诉她的儿子，阿拉丁笑了。当然，这对神灯的精灵来说很容易，第二天，当阿拉丁去皇宫的时候，城里的人都出来观看。
Chapter 8
For two months Aladdin waited happily, but on e day his mother came home from the market and said:Oh, Aladdin! Aladdin! The Princess is going to marry the Vizier's son! I heard it in the market. Everybody's talking about it.'
When Aladdin heard this, he was very unhappy. 'What can I do?' he thought. He put his head in his hands and thought for a long time. And when night came, he took out the magic lamp and rubbed it...WHOOSH! 'What is your wish, master?' said the jinnee of the lamp.
'Bring Princess Badr-al-Budur to me,' said Aladdin.To hear is to obey.'
In a second the innee was back with the Princess asleep in his arms. He put her carefully on a bed, and then the Princess opened her eyes and saw Aladdin.
'Who are you?' she asked, afraid.
Aladdin took her hand and looked into her eyes. 'My name is Aladdin, and I love you,' he ans wered. I cannot live without you, and I want to marry you.'
Badr-al-Budur saw the love in his eyes, and smiled.
She closed her eyes again, then the jinnee carried her back to the Sultan's palace. The next morning she remembered Aladdin's eyes. 'There is no love in the eyes of the Vizier's son, she thought. 'He thinks only of gold and of jew els. So the Princess went to her father.I do not want to marry the Vizier's son,' she said. 'I want Aladdin for my husband.'The Sultan was very surprised. 'What can we do?' he said to his Vizier. 'My daughter wants to marry this man Aladdin. He is a rich man, it is true - but who is he?'Ask him,said the Vizier quickly, for more of those beautiful jewels, on forty gold plates. An d forty slave-girls, with forty slaves. Nobody is that rich.'
'Very good, smiled the Sultan, and said to his slaves: 'Bring Aladdin's mother to me.'When Aladdin's mother arrived, the Sultan said: So! Your son wants to marry my daughter.
But first he must give me forty gold plates wit h jewels. Forty slave-girls, with forty slaves, must carry the plates to me. Than my daughter can be his wife.'
Aladdin's mother went home and told her son, and Aladdin smiled. This was easy for the jinnee of the lamp, of course, and the next day, when Aladdin went to the palace, everybody in the city came out to watch.
