1.CHINESE ASTRONAUTS COMPLETE ANOTHER SPACEWALK

中国宇航员完成二次太空行走

Two of the three astronauts aboard the country’s space station recently completed a second spacewalk on their current six-month mission. The crew has also been conducting experiments on the behavior of fire in a micro-gravity environment. Lei Shuran has more.

近日，中国空间站三名航天员中的两名进行出舱活动，完成了他们目前为期六个月任务中的第二次太空行走。神舟十五号航天员乘组还在微重力环境下执行在轨点火测试。记者雷舒然带来详细报道。

Fei Junlong and Zhang Lu completed the spacewalk while Deng Qingming supported their mission from inside the space station. They collaborated to accomplish all planned tasks with Fei and Zhang safely returning to the space station. The three-man crew has been living in orbit【轨道】 for three months now. Their work involves continuous maintenance of the manned environment, assembling and testing scientific experiment cabinets. The astronauts lit a fire for the first time during a test in the space station’s lab module named Mengtian. Experts said the flame appeared shorter and rounder in the microgravity environment compared to that on Earth.

此次执行出舱任务的航天员是费俊龙和张陆，航天员邓清明在舱内配合支持出舱活动。在三人的密切配合下，费和张圆满完成全部既定工作任务，安全返回空间站。这三名航天员已经在轨道上生活了三个月，并完成了持续的载人环境维护照料、科学实验机柜组装测试等工作。航天员在梦天舱燃烧科学柜中的实验系统进行了首次在轨点火测试，此次点火实验采用甲烷作为燃料。专家表示，与地球相比，微重力环境下的火焰看起来更短更圆。

“Combustion【燃烧】 tests like this in space are aimed at gaining a deeper understanding of how to fireproof the space station and all other manned spacecraft planned by the country. Looking at the bigger picture, we will be able to provide underlying theoretical support to all combustion-related energy systems and power systems both on Earth and in space, as well as in the aerospace sector.”

“在太空中做这个燃烧相关的实验，是为了深入了解如何对空间站和一系列国家规划的载人航天器进行防火。从大的方面来看，我们将能够为地球上和太空中所有与燃烧相关的能源系统和动力系统，以及航空航天领域提供基础理论支撑。”

More than 40 combustion experiments are expected to be completed in the space station by the end of this year. Also, the country’s next-generation manned carrier rocket is expected to make its debut launch in 2027.

预计到今年年底，空间站将完成40次以上的燃烧实验。此外，我国下一代载人运载火箭预计将于2027年首次发射。

2.LINGANG RELEASES SUPPORT MEASURES FOR WOMEN IN SCIENTIFIC FIELDS

临港发布女性科技人才扶持措施

Lingang New Area has released 10 measures to better support women in major scientific fields.

为加大重点产业领域女性科技人才政策支持，上海临港新区推出十项举措。

Up to 500 million yuan will be available to female scientists between now and 2025. The money will be used to recruit female scientists and invest in their companies. Housing subsidies【补贴】 of up to 5 million yuan will be given to those with special talents. Companies will also be encouraged to provide good maternity leave policies. Lingang New Area has set up a working station for women to provide consultations on starting a business, purchasing a home and obtaining a Shanghai hukou.

至2025年，女性科技人才将获得不低于5亿元的资助；这笔资金将用于招聘女性科技人才，并投资她们的公司；对优秀女性科技人才给予最高500万元的购房补贴；政府还将鼓励企业提供友好的产假政策。此外，临港新区成立了上海市女科技工作者协会临港工作站，提供关于创业、购房和获得上海户口的咨询服务。

3.CHINESE FM CALLS FOR STRONGER G20 COOPERATION

中国外长呼吁加强G20合作

Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang addressed the Group of 20 Foreign Ministers’ Meeting in New Delhi yesterday. Qin said that faced with a volatile international situation and rising global challenges, the G20 must enhance cooperation and contribute its share to global development and prosperity. Lei Shuran has the story.

中国外交部长秦刚昨天（03/02）在新德里举行的二十国集团外长会上发表讲话。面对动荡不安的国际形势和层出不穷的全球性挑战，二十国集团应加强合作，为促进全球发展繁荣作出贡献。记者雷舒然带来报道。

In his address, Qin highlighted the principles of dialogue on an equal footing and consensus-building through consultation in dealing with global affairs. He noted no one should engage in power politics or bloc confrontation【对抗】. To better deliver the outcomes of the Bali Summit, Qin called for enhancing macro economic policy coordination, safeguarding food and energy security, improving global economic governance, and bolstering international development cooperation. He added that China has put forward the Global Security Initiative, and issued a paper on its position regarding a political settlement of the Russia-Ukraine conflict. China will always stand on the side of peace, actively promote peace talks, and play a constructive role. Qin also met with Indian External Affairs Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar. Qin said the two sides should view their bilateral【两国】 relations in the context of the once-in-a-century changes that are occurring in the world, as well as viewing bilateral cooperation from the perspective of each country’s national rejuvenation, and be partners on the path to modernization. The Chinese foreign minister said China is willing to speed up the resumption of exchanges and cooperation with India, resume direct flights at the earliest date and facilitate people-to-people exchanges. In addition, Qin also met with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov. Qin reaffirmed China’s position, which calls for joint efforts to uphold the purposes and principles of the UN Charter, support a political solution to the crisis, oppose the escalation of the conflict and disruption of peace talks, and object to double standards, sanctions and pressure. The two sides also signed a consultation plan for 2023.

在讲话中，秦刚强调了处理国际事务要坚持平等对话、协商一致的合作原则。他指出，任何国家都不能搞强权政治、甚至阵营对抗。为更好落实巴厘峰会成果，要加强宏观经济政策协调，维护粮食和能源安全，完善全球经济治理，加强国际发展合作。他补充说，中国提出全球安全倡议，并发表了《关于政治解决乌克兰危机的中国立场》文件。中方将始终站在和平的一边，积极劝和促谈，发挥建设性作用。秦刚还会见了印度外交部长苏杰生，并表示双方要在世界百年变局的背景下看待两国关系，从中印各自民族复兴的视角把握双边合作，做现代化道路上的同行伙伴。中国外长表示，中方愿同印方加快恢复各领域交流合作，尽早恢复直航，便利人员往来。此外，秦刚还会见了俄罗斯外长谢尔盖·拉夫罗夫，并重申了中方立场，呼吁共同维护联合国宪章宗旨和原则，支持政治解决危机，反对拱火浇油，反对破坏和谈，反对双重标准，反对制裁施压。双方共同签署了2023年两国外交部磋商计划。
