1.CARGO CRAFT TIANZHOU-6 DOCKS WITH SPACE STATION
天舟六号货运飞船与空间站组合体完成交会对接
The Tianzhou-6 cargo spacecraft was launched yesterday on a Long March-7 carrier rocket to deliver supplies to astronauts onboard the country's space station. Song Wenjing has more.
5月10日，搭载天舟六号货运飞船的长征七号遥七运载火箭发射升空，向中国空间站上的宇航员提供补给物资。记者宋文静带来详细报道。
The Long March-7 Y7 carrier rocket blasted off【（火箭）发射】at 9:22pm yesterday from the Wenchang launch site in Hainan Province. After about 10 minutes, Tianzhou-6 separated from the carrier rocket and entered its planned orbit. The solar panels of the cargo craft then unfolded and began working.
5月10日21时22分，长征七号遥七运载火箭在我国文昌航天发射场成功点火发射。大约10分钟后，天舟六号货运飞船与火箭成功分离并进入预定轨道，之后，飞船太阳能帆板顺利展开工作。

At 5:16am today, Tianzhou-6 docked with the space station. It was carrying 1.7 tons of propellant, of which 700 kilograms will be transferred to the station so that there is fuel for its engines to maintain its orbit.
5月11日5时16分，天舟六号货运飞船成功对接于空间站。天舟六号还携带1.7吨的推进剂，其中700公斤将转移到空间站，以维持其轨道。

The three astronauts onboard the space station will enter the cargo craft and transfer everything tomorrow.

A new-generation launch command and display system was used to improve control over operations. It provides real-time information on a rocket's launch status, weather conditions, and logistics【后勤】. The system can also adapt to multiple operating systems.
此次采用新一代航天发射指挥显示系统，提供全面精准信息支撑以提高对操作的控制能力。该系统可以对火箭的发射进程、气象实况以及后勤保障等系统信息一体化综合实时显示，还能适应多种操作系统。

2.CONSUMER AND PRODUCER PRICES FALL BUT CORE CPI RISES SLIGHTLY
国家统计局：2023年4月份CPI同比上涨，PPI同比下降
China's consumer price level stayed largely stable last month, the National Bureau of Statistics announced today, easing to a more than two-year low increase of just 0.1 percent year-on-year, well down from the 0.7 percent growth seen in March. Ying Junyi has more.
5月11日，国家统计局宣布四月居民消费价格指数CPI保持相对稳定，同比仅增长0.1％，创下两年多来的最低水平，远低于3月份的0.7％增长。记者应俊一带来更多报道。

Data released today showed that food prices were up 0.4 percent year-on-year in April, but on a monthly basis food prices have been going down for three months in a row. Pork prices, a key element in China's CPI basket, went down by 3.8 percent month-on-month in April. Analysts say that despite the slide in prices, demand is gradually recovering. The core CPI, which deducts food and energy prices, actually went up by 0.1 percent on a monthly level in April.
今天发布的数据（5/11）显示，4月份食品价格同比上涨0.4％，但从月度数据来看，食品价格连续三个月下降。猪肉价格是中国CPI篮子中的一个关键因素，4月份环比下降了3.8％。分析师表示，尽管价格下跌，但需求正在逐渐恢复。扣除食品和能源价格的核心CPI在4月份实际上环比上涨了0.1％。

“Demand for consumer goods was still quite weak. But the price index for the service sector was actually rebounding, up one percent from the previous 0.2 percent decline. So consumption is recovering, but mainly in the service sector.”
Today's data also showed that China's producer price index, which measures costs for goods at the factory gate, went down 3.6 percent year-on-year in April, widening from a 2.5 percent drop in March. On a monthly basis, the PPI was down 0.5 percent.
五月十一日的数据还显示，中国的生产价格指数（PPI，衡量工业企业产品出厂价格变动指数）在4月份同比下降了3.6％，较3月份的下降2.5％有所扩大。从月度数据来看，PPI下降了0.5％。
3.CHINESE FM CALLS FOR STRENGTHENING OF CHINA-GERMANY COOPERATION
外交部：中德应加强对话合作
Chinese State Councilor and Foreign Minister Qin Gang said strengthening dialogue and cooperation between China and Germany will help inject more stability and positive energy into the world. Qin made the remarks during his meeting with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin on Wednesday. Lei Shuran has the story.
当地时间5月11日，中国国务委员兼外交部长秦刚在与德国总理朔尔茨在柏林会晤期间表示，加强中德对话合作有利于为世界注入更多稳定性、确定性和正能量。记者雷舒然带来详细报道。
Scholz noted that Germany attaches importance to China's role and influence, and is willing to strengthen communication with China on major issues such as the situation in Ukraine. Qin said that China's position is to facilitate talks for peace, adding that the conflict should be ended as quickly as possible. He added a political solution should be achieved through dialogue, and ways be found for the long-term peace and stability in Europe.
朔尔茨指出，德方重视中国的作用和影响力，愿就乌克兰危机等重大问题同中方加强沟通。秦刚表示，在乌克兰问题上，中方的立场就是劝和促谈。应尽快停火止战，通过对话实现政治解决，寻找欧洲长治久安之道。
Qin also visited the historic site of the Potsdam Conference of 1945. Qin noted that the Potsdam Proclamation issued after the conference reaffirmed the Cairo Declaration that China's territory, including Taiwan, stolen by Japan, should be returned to China. He said the post-war international order must be safeguarded and China's national reunification must be realized.
访问期间，秦刚还参观了1945年波茨坦会议的历史遗址。秦刚指出，会后发表的《波茨坦公告》重申了《开罗宣言》的规定，包括日本所窃取的包括台湾在内的中国领土应归还中国。他说，战后国际秩序必须维护、中国国家统一必须实现。
After his visit to Germany, Qin traveled to Paris, France on the same day where he met with his French counterpart Catherine Colonna.

Colonna said France does not engage in camp confrontations【对抗】, noting that China plays an important role in world peace and stability. She said France is willing to strengthen communication with China on major regional and international issues.
科隆纳表示，法方不搞阵营对抗，中国为世界和平稳定发挥着重要作用，法方愿就乌克兰等重大国际地区问题同中方加强沟通。
