What is “Genetic Code Diagram”?
TAETEA: This is a special format used in this chapter to explain the products. Each product is matched with two illustrations: a genetic code diagram and a diagram highlighting outstanding quality features of the product.
Each of TAETEA’s tea products has a unique quality feature. In recent years, TAETEA has utilized big data to do a number of things, such as clustering or assembly of same-attribute raw materials, structural analysis of blending and matching, formula law summary, physicochemical data analysis, setting of specific technological parameters etc. so that product formation would be more intelligent and more forward-looking. Formed through deep data mining on the basis of big data,the genetic code diagram demonstrates various data in a multi-dimensional, scientific and effective manner. Like an ID card, each diagram is unique and authoritative and represents just one product. The product genetic code diagram is unique and is formed of multiple dots of different dimensions, each representing a different meaning. For example, Product No. 7542’s genetic diagram looks like a “¥” symbol, from which readers can get basic information about the product. Professionals can read professional information about the product after going through certain trainings.

This diagram represents salient features of a product. Currently, only aroma and taste evaluation is shown. For example, Product No.7542’s salient features are strong aromas of flowers and fruits, and rich tastes. Of the tastes, “bitterness,” “astringency,” and “the function of generating fluid” can be further divided into numerous types. For example, “bitterness (I)” represents bitterness in the “I” category; “astringency (I)” represents astringency in the “I” category; and “function of generating fluid (IV)” represents a function of promoting secretion of saliva in the “IV” category (details are not illustrated here to protect TAETEA’s confidential technology). TAETEA has gathered and summed up its evaluation team’s experience accumulated in decades. Further to that, equipped with scientific evaluation methods, the company has reestablished a systematic, complete, accurate and efficient tea quality evaluation system.
