Do you usually help people around you?

Yes I guess so. As long as they are really in need, and what they need si not beyond me, I will always give a hand. That makes me happy.

How do you help people around you?

I think that really depends on what kind of help they need. For example, if my friends need some advice on their stuff, I will contribute some wisdom there, and if an old lady needs a hand with her bag, I will do that too, to help her carry it.

Do your parents teach you how to help others？

Actually, no. They did tell me to help others, to remember to be generous person, and to give a hand whenever possible, but they didn't gave me any tips about HOW, I mean, the specific strategies for helping others.

Did your parents help you a lot when you were young?

Yes, and I think a typical Chinese parent would always do that. And their help is not premised on the expectation that they want something back, that's very generous and kind.
