Fourteen minutes past eleven on the morning of October (the) twenty-sixth,twenty twenty-three,China launched its Shenzhou-17 manned spacecraft from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in northwest China. Shenzhou-17 is the 30th flight mission of China's manned space program, and the 12th manned mission of the program. Three Chinese astronauts, Tang Hongbo, Tang Shengjie and Jiang Xinlin, have been selected for the mission to the China Space Station (CSS), and Tang Hongbo is the commander. The trio marks the youngest astronaut crew on average age since the launch of CSS construction mission. It is also the first time that the spaceflight team consists of one veteran from China's second batch of astronauts and two space rookies from the third batch of astronauts. The crew will stay in orbit for about six months. 2023年10月26日11时14分，中国在中国西北部的酒泉卫星发射中心发射了神舟17号载人飞船。神舟17号是中国载人航天计划的第30次飞行任务，也是该计划的第12次载人航天任务。
三名中国宇航员是汤洪波、唐圣杰和姜新林，他们被选为本次任务的航天员，前往中国空间站（CSS）执行任务，唐洪波是指挥员。
这三人标志着自CSS建造任务发射以来最年轻的宇航员船员的平均年龄。
这也是第一次，航天团队由中国第二批宇航员的一名老兵和第三批宇航员的两名太空新手组成。
机组人员将在轨道上停留约6个月。
