What can you do to make the world kind?
Sophie and Jada see Faizah’s sad face. “Are you OK? Do you need help?” they ask. Faizah explains the problem. Jada has an idea and tells Sophie about it. Then, Sophie gives Faizah her red sash to wear as a hijab! Now Asiya and Faizah match because they both have hijabs. Faizah has a wonderful Picture Day because of Sophie and Jada’s help!
Faizah realizes something. She does live in a world with friendship and kindness. Mama passed on her dress. Her classmates passed kindness to each other. Sophie passed her sash as a hijab. Faizah and her family, friends, and teacher make the world a kind place.
