I was born in Taian City, which is located in Shandong Province. It's my hometown.
What kind of place is it?
It's a beautiful and historical place, known for its famous mountain called Mount Tai. Many tourists visit here every day, especially to witness the breathtaking sunrise.
How long have you lived there?
I have lived here since I was born, so it's been around twenty years. However, I did move to another city when I went to university.
What is one of the best things about living there?
The best thing about living here is that most of my family members also live here. Being able to share meals and go shopping together whenever we please is truly wonderful. Moreover, we can always rely on each other for support and assistance, making our bond even stronger.
Is there anything you dislike about it?
There are a few things I dislike about my hometown. Firstly, being a small city, it lacks the convenience that larger cities offer. Secondly, there is a limited range of entertainment facilities available, which can be quite disappointing.
Do you know many people who live nearby?
Yes, I know a lot of people living nearby because we all live in the same community, which is a building owned by the same company. Most of them are my mom's colleagues, so I know them well.
Do you have any relatives who still live in your hometown? Why/Why not?
Yes, most of the older generation in my family still live in my hometown because they were born and have lived there for a very long time. They have established friendships and connections in the community, which is why they choose to remain there, even if their children have moved to another city.
Do you often go back to visit your hometown? Why/Why not?
I don't go back to visit my hometown very often because I have my own business in another city, which makes it inconvenient to go back frequently. However, I do make sure to visit my hometown every year to celebrate the biggest festival in China with my family.
