In the dark night,
I cast a net into the vast ocean of consciousness,
Retrieving words.
I wove words
With silence, with absence.
Each word in the darkness,
A flower named silence.

I chiselled words through frozen layers of ice.
They entered me –
Like an abyss.

I wrote down sentences,
To construct a place of refuge for myself,
Where –
I could breathe freely,
I could exist,
I could recognise myself in the mirror of ashes.
There had been some light,
Piercing through the dense darkness.
Then it disappeared,
Like a key made of water.
Nonetheless,
Darkness knew;
Darkness would remember.

I bestowed words with shadows.
I filled the void with ashes that incinerated meaning.
I concretised wounds with words,
Pain was thus preserved, and suffering retained.
Everything became distilled and pure.
Encircled by words, I am –
An unhealable wound,
A wound unwilling to be healed.
A wound, an abyss.
Words seek for a sublime death within the wound.

在黑夜里，
我向意识的大海撒网，
将词语打捞。
我编织词语，
以沉默、以缺席。
一个个黑暗中的词语，
一朵朵名为寂静的花。

我将词语凿出结冻的冰层，
它们进入我——
像一个深渊。

我写下一些句子，
给自己构造一个容身之地。
在那里——
我可以自由地呼吸，
我可以存在，
我可以从灰烬镜子里认出我自己。
有一些光，
快速地穿透了稠密的黑暗。
然后消失了，
像水做的钥匙。
但是，
黑暗知道。
黑暗会记得。

我赋予词语以阴影，
以焚毁意义的灰烬填满虚空。
我以词语具像化伤口。
疼痛被留存，痛苦被保留。
一切都变得纯粹。
词语围绕着的我——
是一道无法被治愈的伤口，
一道不愿自我愈合的伤口。
一道伤口，一个深渊。
词语在伤口中寻找一种崇高的死亡。
