Lesson 26 Where is it?

一、句型：

There be(is/are)…+名词+ in/on…+ the+某地
此句型表示：某地存在某物……
eg.There is a bird in the tree.树上有一只鸟。
There are three birds in the tree.
树上有三只鸟。
There is some water（此处为不可数名词）in the bottle.瓶子里有些水。

Where 引导的特殊问句，用来询问地点
Where is/are + it/they?
它在哪儿？它们在哪儿？
回答：单数时：It is + in/on+the +某地
复数时：They are + in/on+the +某地

二、语法知识
a/an是不定冠词，常修饰第1次提到的名词单数形式时。
the是定冠词，修饰第二次提到的名词单数或复数形式时，或修饰特指的/大家都知道的名词。
eg.There is a table in the room.
The table is white.
There is an egg on the table. The egg is for you.
