My first language is Cantonese, second is Mandarin, and English is my third language. 
I started learning English in junior high. 
Initially, I couldn't differentiate between "potato" and "tomato" in English. 
To remember, I associated "tomato" starting with "t" like the Chinese pronunciation of "potato." So, when I see "tomato" and "potato," I know "t" is for tomato. 
In my childhood, we grew potatoes at home. 
In my hometown, potatoes were a vegetable, not a staple food. 
One of my favorite dishes as a child was sliced potatoes with chives and pork cooked by my mom, delicious. 
Potatoes turned into junk food like potato chips. It's a fighter jet in junk food, harmful to health. 
It shouldn't be produced, but for profit, businesses continue without breaking the law. 
The only way is to remind kids and family not to consume such food.
