妈妈看见孩子房间凌乱时经常会说“What a mess！”真是 “Look at the mess!”看看这一团糟。

另外我们也会说“看你的房间真像个猪窝！”What a pigsty!

Mom: Jenny, clean up your mess, please.

Jenny: OK. Mom. I’m putting these books into the box. I’ll do it later.

M:Peter, tidy up your mess. Pick up the garbage under your desk, please.

P: Mom, can I do it later? I haven’t finished my homework.

M: Peter, you better hurry. Summer vacation is over in 2 days.

Clean up和 tidy up都是清扫整理收拾的意思。

I’ll是I will 的缩写，表达打算要做的事情。

I haven’t finished…是have+过去分词的完成时用法。

Summer vacation暑假，winter vacation寒假。

To put away收好，是指把东西放回原位iede意思，比如，Put your toys away in the cupboard.

放到一边去是put aside，比如，She put the toy aside and picked up a book.她把玩具放在一旁，拿起一本书。

Take out your handkerchief. 去除你的手帕。

Put in some more water,will you?再加些水，好吗？

Please hang out the clothes.帮忙把衣服挂出去。

Clean up the room before you go out.出去前先打扫好房间。

Put your toys away.把你的玩具收拾好。
