英语美文-自信是一种美丽
Self-confidence Is a Kind of Beauty
 自信是一种发自内心的对自己的认可和信任，即使受到外部环境的影响或是质疑，也很难改变的一种品质。拥有自信的人，运气都不会太差。
 我印象最深刻的是之前带的一个学生，他的英文不算好，但是非常敢于和老师们（中教和外教）用英语交流。当时也有不少英语好的人觉得他的英语太差，但是一段时间过后，他们都惊人的发现这个学生的英语进步速度简直超乎他们的想象。正是自信，让这位学生勇于张口，在练习的过程中，也让他不断的意识到自己的问题从而得以不断的改进。
 如果你觉得自己英语太差，羞于张口，那就大错特错了，在积累的一定的英语知识后，凡事能让你说英语的地方，一定要抓住机会，大大方方的说出来。别人对你的眼光对你的自我提升起不到任何积极的作用，相信自己，反复的挑战自己，反复练习，你收获的不仅会英语上的成功，也会收获更加成功的人生。今天我们来学习和朗读一篇英语美文：自信是一种美丽。

 Jenny was a little girl who always lowered her head because she didn't think she was beautiful enough all the time. One day she went to a shop to buy a green bow. The shopkeeper constantly praised she looked very beautiful with it. Though she didn't believe that, Jenny was so happy that she couldn't help raising her head. Jenny happened to meet her teacher when she went into the classroom. "Jenny, it's really beautiful when you raise your head, "said the teacher, patting her shoulder caressingly.
 That day Jenny got the praise from many people. She thought it must be due to the bow. But when she looked in the mirror, there wasn't any bow on her head. She must have lost it when she went out of the shop and bumped against someone else.
 Self-confidence is originally a kind of beauty, but many people care so much about their appearance that they lose a lot of joy. Poor or rich, fairy or plain as long as you raise your head. it can make you lovely.
 詹妮是一个总爱低着头的小女孩,她一直觉得自己长得不够漂亮。有一天,她去商店买了一只绿色蝴蝶结,店主不断赞美她戴上蝴蝶结很漂亮。尽管詹妮不信,但她还是挺高兴,不由得扬起了头。詹妮走进教室,迎面碰见了老师。“詹妮,你扬起头来真美!”老师爱抚地拍拍她的肩说。
 那一天,她得到了许多人的赞美。她想一定是蝴蝶结的功劳。但是,她往镜里一照,发现头上根本没有蝴蝶结,一定是走出商店时与人一碰弄丢了。
 自信原本就是一种美丽,而很多人却因为太在意外表而失去了许多快乐。无论是贫穷还是富有,无论是貌若天仙还是相貌平平,只要你扬起头,就会使你变得可爱。
