It's almost Father's Day,

父亲节就要到了，

and little Sister and I are planning a big surprise for Dad and Grandpa. 

我和妹妹计划给爸爸和爷爷准备一个大大的惊喜。

"What are you two up to?"asks Dad.

“你们俩在干什么呀？”爸爸问。

"Nothing," we say.

“没干什么。”我们说。

You have to be very careful to keep your Father's Day plans top secret

父亲节的计划可是最高机密，一定要小心保密！

--- especially from your dad.

—尤其是对爸爸。

First, we make big, huge, super-duper Father’s Day cards for Dad and Grandpa.

首先，我们要给爸爸和爷爷做两张大大的，非常棒的父亲节贺卡。

You need lots of stuff to make the cards really good.

要想把卡片做好，得需要很多材料。

"Yikes! Be careful, Little Critter!" yells Little Sister.

“哎呀！哥哥，小心点！”妹妹喊道。

Oops! This glue sure is sticky!

天哪！这个胶水真是太粘了！

Next, Mom takes us shopping for Father's Day presents.

接下来，妈妈带我们去逛街，为父亲节挑选礼物。

Dads and grandpas like getting presents,

爸爸和爷爷都喜欢收礼物，

but you have to make sure you pick just the right ones.

但得确保买的东西是他们喜欢的。

Wow! 

哇！

"This is cool! Dad will love it!"

哇！“这个真酷！爸爸肯定会喜欢！

On Father's Day,

到了父亲节这一天，

Little Sister and I wake up really early,

我和妹妹早早起床，

so we can make a special Father’s Day breakfast just for Dad.

为爸爸做一顿特别的父亲节早餐。

Uh-oh！

呃-哦！

I clean up the mess. 1, 2, 3!

我把厨房清理干净。1, 2, 3！

"Happy Father's Day, Dad!" Little Sister and I shout.

“爸爸，父亲节快乐！”我和妹妹大声说，

"Whoa!"

哇啊！”

"It still tastes good, Dad."

“虽然洒了，吃起来还是挺香的，爸爸。”

When Grandma and Grandpa come over,

等爷爷奶奶都过来后，

Little Sister and I put on a special Father's Day magic show!

我和妹妹给大家带来一场父亲节魔术表演！

"I will now pull a rabbit out of this hat!"

“现在，我要从帽子里变出一只兔子！”

"Oh, hello, Mouse!"

“哦好吧，小老鼠，你好！”

"Ladies and gentlemen, for my next trick, I will saw Little Sister in half!" I say.

“女士们先生们，接下来的表演，我要把妹妹锯成两半！”我喊道。

"Ta-da!" 

“哒哒！”

Then, Little Sister gives me a big drumroll.

接着，妹妹为我用力地敲鼓伴奏。

"And finally, I will pull a quarter out of Grandpa's ear!" I say.

“最后，我要从爷爷的耳朵里变出一枚硬币！”我说。

Then, Little Sister gives me a big drumroll.

"Ta-da! I mean, flowers!" I say.

“哒哒！嗯，我是说，变束花！”我说。

Then we have a big Father's Day lunch.

我们全家一起享用了美味的父亲节午餐。

Little Sister and I give Dad and Grandpa the cards we made and the presents we bought.

妹妹和我把制作好的父亲节卡片和礼物送给了爸爸和爷爷。

“Happy Father’s Day, Dad and Grandpa!” we say.

“祝爸爸和爷爷父亲节快乐！”我们一起喊。
