A Proud Mouse

一只得意的老鼠

There was a mouse who lives in a house

有一只老鼠住在一个房子里

But people did not like him

但是人们都不喜欢他

They shouted, “Get out!”

他们大喊：“出去！出去！”

“Quit living in our house!”

“不要住在我们的房子里！”

They shouted very loud

他们喊得很大声

And tried to chase him outside

试图把他赶出去

But the mouse was very quick

但是这只老鼠动作很快

He ran around the whole house

他在屋子里到处乱跑

He hid under the couch

他藏在沙发下面

He stayed very quiet

他安静地待着

He didn’t make a sound

他不发出一点声音

And nobody could find him

After an hour, the people left

to look for him outside

Then the mouse came out

from under the couch

He stayed in the house

And he was quite proud
