Anchor man: The book is very fun but isalso very serious. You call it a guide to effective lollygagging and postponing. You say that you can be a procrastinator but basically be a good person to getthings done.
John Perry: Yeah. You know procrastinationgets a bad wrap. A lot of psychologist write articles that you can read tellyou that if you are a procrastinator, you are an unproductive person and youare responsible for the gross national product going bad, you are cutting downon your own life and you tend towards alcoholism and you drive everyone elsecrazy. But the fact is it occurred to me one day I am a procrastinator and Iget a lot done.

But you know there is two kinds of procrastination. One is kind of putting things up to the deadline and getting it done with a biga rush but making it. And the other is missing. Now in broadcasting you don’twant to that second one.
