超越话语的噪音

倾听是一种不太容易掌握的艺术,但其中却蕴涵着优美和广泛的了解。我们是带着我们生命中的各种不同的深度来倾听的,但是我们的倾听却总是带有先入之见,或者持有某种特定的观点;我们并不能单纯地倾听,其中总是有我们的各种思想、结论和成见的屏障在阻隔着……要倾听,就必须要有一种内在的宁静、一份从欲求的紧张中摆脱出来的自由和放松的注意力,只有这种警觉而又被动的状态才能听见超越语言判断的内容。

话语容易产生混乱,它们只是交流的外在手段;而要超越话语噪音来进行交流,在倾听中就必须处于警觉的被动状态。那些相爱着的人能够倾听,而一个真正的倾听者是极其罕见的。

我们大多数人都在追求结果和达成目的,永远想要赢或者想要去征服,所以没有倾听。一个人只有在倾听的状态中,才能够听出话语的歌韵。

Noise beyond words
Listening is a kind of art that is not easy to master, but it contains a beautiful and extensive understanding. We listen with all kinds of depth in our life, but we always listen with preconceived ideas or hold a certain point of view; we can't simply listen, which is always blocked by our various thoughts, conclusions and prejudices In order to listen, we must have a kind of inner peace, a free and relaxed attention, which can only be heard in this alert and passive state.
Words are easy to produce confusion, they are only external means of communication; to communicate beyond the noise of words, we must be in a passive state of alert in listening. Those who love can listen, but a real listener is extremely rare.
Most of us are in pursuit of results and goals, always want to win or want to conquer, so we don't listen. Only in the state of listening can one hear the rhyme of words.
