One of these words describes potential of what might be done. The other one describes what a person will do.

Words / Phrases

I can

I will

'I can' means that you have the ability, resources or time to do a certain activity.

'I will' means that a person 'will' act upon it and do it.

Practice

I can remember new English words easily.

I will remember all of my vocabulary words.

I can go to the store later. (This means, I will have time to go.)

I can spend a lot of time with my daughter.

I will spend a lot of time with my daughter in the next few weeks.

I can pick up (this means 'buy') some bread at the supermarket.

I will pick up some milk at the supermarket.

I know you can, but, will you?

These are very common everyday expressions. Both of them point towards the future. 'Can' means it is possible. 'Will' means, it will happen.
