Today, I'm going to teach you two common phrases that are are said wrong by Chinese English students. I'll teach you what they are and I'll teach you the right way to say each one.
Phrases
Do not say, 'have a good dream'.
Say, 'Goodnight', 'night night', 'g'night', 'sweet dreams', 'hope you sleep well'.
Do not say, 'how to say .......?'
Say, 'how do you say ... ...?' Or, 'how do I say ...?' Or 'what's the right way to say ... ....?'
Practice
"Michael, how do you say, ' Good morning ' in English?"
"Michael, how do I say, ' hello ' in English?"
"What's the right way to say teacher in English?"
"How do you say ' I know ' in English?"
"How do you say," I know 'in English? "
"What's the right way to say ' I do not know in English ? "

Night night Michael. Hope you rest well.
G'night Michael. Hope you sleep well.
