Today we are going to look at words that are often used wrong in English writing and conversation. I’ll teach you these words and the right way to use them.

Use can to mean “to have the ability to.” Use may to mean “to have permission to” or “to be possible or likely to.”

Practice

You can certainly carry that load.

You can speak English when you learn the right way.

You can go to the store when it is open.

You may leave the meeting after the boss speaks.

You can do almost anything if you focus and work hard.
