Let go of your wronged feeling

We are often very tolerant towards ourselves. When we do something wrong, we would simply see it as a “careless mistake”; when we do a bad job, we would think that “I am not perfect, but I gave it my all.” The reason that it’s hard for us to face criticism, even the slightest kind, is that we have the mindset of self protection and approval seeking. Such is the spikes of self-grasping.

Observe your heart when you feel falsely treated, and you will see that it is completely occupied by the notion of“self”. MY talents were belittled, MY actions were misunderstood, MY efforts were not paid back, etc. When this notion becomes lighter, so will the feeling of being wrongly accused. The ability to let this feeling go shows the truest practice of Dharma.

Calm your mind, carefully analyze your emotions and look for your afflictions. Ask yourself:

Is there anything I can improve on? Is my work really satisfying to those who assigned me it? Can I have a better temper and character? We will only suffer in pain if we cannot see our own problems.

Everything is impermanent and ever changing. Let go of the clinging to oneself and pain will be gone naturally. And when the dark clouds of feeling unfairly treated is automatically gone, light with all its splendor will easily come to your heart.

放下委屈

人通常都对自己很宽容，即使犯了错误，也会想“是一时疏忽”；事情没做好，就会想“没有功劳也有苦劳”，很难面对别人的批评或指出问题，甚至别人轻轻碰一下就会感到委屈，这都是源于自我保护、做事求肯定的心态，是“我执”竖起的尖刺。

委屈的时候，观察自己内心，满满都是一个“我”字。我的才华被人轻视，我的行为被人误解，我的付出没有得到回报……这个“我”淡几分，委屈就少几分。最真实的修行功夫，就是看人能不能放下委屈。

把心静下来，好好分析一下那些委屈，找找自己内心的烦恼想一想，自己有哪些地方做得不足？自己的工作是不是能够让领导满意？自己的脾气、性格有没有要改进的地方？如果看不到自己的问题，只会白白受苦。

世间一切都是无常变化的，放下对自我的执着，痛苦便自然离去，委屈的乌云便不驱自散万丈光芒自会照亮心间。
