An increasing number of people now pay attention to social image; the cartoonist is no exception. In the picture, a young man, reluctant to teach his father to use the cell phone, is very warm-hearted to help an old lady he meets in the park. The purpose of this cartoon is to reveal an alarming fact that people maybe generous to others only for the sake of social image.
Love, responsibility, and social image are the three primary motivations for people to help others. Helping strangers in public enables people to establish a favorable social image and provides them with excellent self-satisfaction and a sense of pride. While we should not deny its importance in building positive social connections, this motivation is indeed not that selfless in nature. Taking care of one’s parents, on the other hand, is an action out of love and responsibility. It requires people to put aside their own benefits and be entirely devoted to others.
In conclusion, being kind to one's parents is a selfless deed without material or reputational reward. Therefore, it can always serve as a criterion for individuals to judge others and, more importantly, reflect on their own behaviors.

现在越来越多的人关注社会形象，漫画师也不例外。如图所示，一位男子不愿意教他父亲使用手机，却热心帮助公园里遇到的老人。此图旨在揭露一个令人担忧的事实：人们对他人慷慨可能只是为了维护社会形象。
爱、责任和社会形象是人们帮助他人的三个主要动机。在公共场合帮助他人，能使人们建立良好的社会形象，并且带给人们满足感和自豪感。尽管我们无法否认帮助他人在建立良好社会关系上起到的重要作用，但这种行为的动机本质上没有那么无私。善待父母则不同，它是一种出于爱和责任的行为，要求人们放下自身利益而全心全意地对待他人。
总之，对父母好是一种无私的行为，不要求物质或名誉方面的回报，可以一直作为人们判断他人的标准；更重要的是，这也可以作为反思自身行为的标准。
