Unit 05 An Unforgettable Childhood Experience

I will always remember the first time my parents took my older sister and me to an amusement park. It took us about an hour’s drive to get there. I was very excited because I had visited such a place before. At the entrance, I couldn’t wait to get into the park, but my dad said we had to stand in line for tickets first. The park was a real eye-opener for me. I had never imagined that I could play on so many things. We decided to take a ride on the  ferris wheel first. But we had to go without my mom because she was afraid of heights. Then we all went to ride on the merry-go-round. We even ventured into the Haunted House. The best part of the visit, however, came when my sister and I were riding on the roller coaster. She kept screaming while I fully enjoyed the high speed without batting an eye. Even after so many years, those exciting childhood memories often come back to me.
