The Surrey Community Cat Foundation (SurreyCats) is seeking (寻找，寻求) food donations (食物捐赠)after a drop (减少) in contributions has left them scrambling (艰难地完成)to feed their residents.
The shelter (救助站，收容所，临时住处)works with the Surrey Urban Mission and many local stores to assist (帮助，支持)those in the community who care for their pet cats and strays(流浪猫). When cats are underfed (没喂饱的) they’re at higher risk (有更高风险) of developing an illness (生病)or even death, according to SurreyCats volunteer(义工) Lubna.
