1. In integrated language practice activities, teachers should pay attention to students' life experience and cognitive level, choose topics that are both meaningful and close to students' life experience, create rich and diverse contexts, and stimulate students' interest in learning and experiencing language在综合性的语言实践活动中，教师要关注学生的生活经验和认知水平，选择既有意义又贴近学生生活经验的主题，创设丰富多样的语境，激发学生参与学习和体验语言的兴趣(p.62).
2. Language learning is characterized by continuity and progression. The cultivation of language skills such as listening, speaking, reading, viewing, and writing is a continuous and gradual process. Students can achieve their ultimate goal only if they practice constantly in specific learning activities语言学习具有持续性和渐进性的特点。听说读看写等语言技能的培养是持续和渐进的过程。学生只有在具体学习活动中不断实践，才能达到最终目标(p.62).
3. As technology advances and trade and exchanges between countries increase, it is becoming more and more important to understand spoken English in many situations such as face-to-face, on the telephone, in business meetings, lectures, speeches, televisions, and so on随着技术不断进步以及国与国之间贸易往来日益紧密，在多种场合理解英语口语变得越来越重要，如：面对面交流、电话沟通、参加商务会议、听讲座、听演讲、看电视等(p.135).
