Well, I was in the military for two years. I served in the rocket force of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army，and then I came back to continue my studies at university. this experience has change my life.
When I was in the military, my job was as a deputy squad leader. My main duties were standing guard and training new recruits. Sometimes the work could be exhausting, especially when some of the new comrades didn’t perform well in training. They didn’t know how to use a rifle safely , they won’t protect themselves during an attack, it could threaten the safety of the entire team. But, I had to patiently help them, and when they made progress, I would feel very happy and find my job very meaningful. Not only for the training itself, but also because I was teaching them how to survive, that is the point.
I am so proud to have been one of the soldiers defending this country, this land. This experience has change my life, it reminds me of the time with my buddies, my military career, Yeah, I feel happy and satisfied for my service to the country.
