When I was a soldier, we often trained to run in the afternoon. That's really a tiring activity. We must run as fast as we could, carrying body armor and rifles at the same time. The distance was usually 3 kilometers. Everyone had to finish within 11 minutes, If you didn’t make it, you would be punished to continue running until dinner time. We were exhausted when it was over.
Definitely running is a great way, to stay in shape and maintain health. But I don't like it at all at that time. Because our running training was so intense. And repeat it every day.
But when I come back to university, I start enjoy running now, although I am no longer a soldier, No one asked me to go running anymore. And Running doesn't make me tired anymore.
I usually run on the school playground. There’s a bunch of veterans there, we are all friends, and we keep the habit of staying fit. It’s a great atmosphere there.
