NorthernScotland is a land of beauty. Mountains are covered with trees, and evergreenbushes make the place very beautiful. The beautiful lakes, or locks as they arecalled by the Highlanders, lie among the rough mountains.
Butin spite of the beauty, the Scottish Highlands are strange and lonely.Emptyfarmhouses dot the area.Damaged old castles stand in silent praise of aromantic past.Often the mountains are covered in cold fog. In the earlymorning, thick fog sometimes blankets the area, seeming to settle on manybeautiful lakes.
