Alicia Towns Franken, with over 25 years in the hospitality industry, is VP Wine Portfolio at Archer Roose, one of the leading canned wine companies in the U.S.. She is responsible for growing the wine portfolio of Archer Roose and for creating an industry-focused program to helped strengthen category awareness of alternative packaging, by developing stronger ties with the winemakers, thinkers, critics, distributors, movers and shakers that are the gatekeepers in this industry in order to raise Archer Roose’s profile.
In addition, Alicia serves on the board and also heads mentorship at Wine Unify, an organization who’s mission is to welcome, elevate, and amplify the voices of underrepresented minorities in the wine industry. She believes that elevating the experience and influence of diverse members of the wine community is but one of many valuable pieces of todays complicated puzzle.

Cynthia Chaplin is a VIA certified Italian Wine Ambassador, a professional sommelier with FIS and the WSA, a member of Le Donne del Vino, and a Professor of Italian wine and culture. Born in the USA, she’s lived in Europe since 1990. Italian wine, in particular rosé, is her passion. She works with embassies, corporations and private clients, creating and presenting tastings, events, seminars and in-depth courses. Cynthia is a wine writer, a judge at international wine and sake competitions, she consults with restaurants and enotecas developing comprehensive wine lists and food pairings, and she advises clients who want to curate an Italian wine collection. She currently works for Vinitaly International in Verona as a Project Manager, Educator, and the host of VOICES Series on The Italian Wine Podcast, focusing on diversity and inclusion in the global wine industry.
