Clark the shark 3

上次我们说到鲨鱼Clark调整好状态，在学校的生活逐渐恢复了平静。但生活哪有什么平静啊？这不，又来事了。我们接着看But then a shallow fell across （fall arocss横扫下来） the playground, an enormous shadow with tentacles galore. It‘s a new kid and he looks scary. Cried Joey “swim for your life. ”(逃命啊)  The squid squashed（砸扁） the slide and it snapped off（绷断）the swings. Oops, my bad（都是我的错）, said the new kid.

但就在这时，一个巨大的阴影笼罩了操场。这影上还带着不少的触角。这是一个新学生，他看上去真可怕。Joey大喊道：“快逃命啊。” 这只大鱿鱼压扁了滑梯，扯断了秋千的绳子。自己却说：“哦，“我的天，都是我的错。”（他倒是挺有自知之明。）

Wait, said Clark. He just wants to play. Let's find a way. And he swam at the new kid with all his might (全力) Clark played harder than he ever had before. Upsy-downsy and spinna-ma-jig. Why, he even made up a new game, tail-whump-a-lumpus.

等一等,Clark说道。他只不过是想和我们一起玩儿，但是得找到合适的方法。Clark使大劲的游向那个新学生，他从来没玩儿的这么用力。他开始跟这个孩子玩儿起了连抡再甩的游戏。他甚至还发明了一种新玩法，就是揪着鱿鱼的尾巴甩呀抡呀的。

Wow, that was fun. Said the new kid breathlessly, and he settled down. If you want to come to school, you've got to stay cool, said Clark. “That's right, Clark ” said Mrs. Inkydink “and thanks for taking care of our new classmate. Sid the Squid. Hooray for Clark and Shark. Everyone cheered.

“这太好玩了”，那个新学生气喘吁吁的说。等他安静下来后， Clark对他说。如果你想来学校，就得学会安静。克拉克说，章鱼老师说：“说的对，Clark，谢谢你照顾我们的新同学，他的名字叫由于鱿鱼Sid，每个人都为Clark欢呼。

That night, Clark's mother asked,

what did you learn at school dear?

There's a time and place for everything, Clark said, sometimes you stay cool.

But sometimes a shark’s gotta do what a shark’s gotta do.

那天晚上，Clark他妈问他:” 最近都学什么了？小宝贝。Clark说：“什么时候就干什么事儿。有的时候得保持安静。”

妈妈说，是呀，但那有的时候鲨鱼还得干点儿鲨鱼该干的事儿，是不是？
